Introduction

We are asking the aid of all Collembola researchers to jointly work to keep the biogeographical database up to date. To facilitate this, a number of specialists agreed to be responsible for looking for new references to certain Good biogeographic regions. Each of the specialists agreed to be responsible for one or more of the Good biogeographic regions (see Christiansen & Bellinger, 1995).

The regional specialists and their addresses are given below All Collembola researchers are earnestly requested to send any new regional records or new species to the appropriate regional authority.
