Remark by Melville, R.V. & Smith, J.D.D. 1987:23: Neogastruridae Stach, 1949. Placed on the Official Index of Rejected and Invalid Family-Group Names in Zoology. Type genus: Neogastrura Stach, 1949. A junior objective synonym of Hypogastrurinae Börner, 1906, the respective type genera of these two families having the same nominal species as type species. Opinion 435. |
Remark by Melville, R.V. & Smith, J.D.D. 1987:18: Hypogastrurinae Börner, 1906. Placed on the Official List of Family-Group Names in Zoology. Type genus: Hypogastrura Bourlet, 1839. Opinion 435. |
Remark by Greenslade, P., Stevens, M.I., Torricelli, G. & D'Haese, C.A. 2011:227: Nonmonophyly of Hypogastruridae is consistent with the results of D'Haese (2002). |
Remark by Janssens, F. 2012.11.15: To partially resolve the paraphyly of the Hypogastruridae (see Greenslade & al., 2011), we tentatively propose to restore the Poduroidea as sister-group of the Neanuroidea and as follows = ((Podura+(Biscoia+Microgastrura))+(Paraxenylla+Xenylla)). Note: this is not yet reflected in the current taxonomic hierarchy. |
Remark by D'Haese, C.A. 2002:1149: Triacanthella is more closely related to Odontellidae and Onychiuridae [then to Hypogastruridae]. |
Remark by Janssens, F. 2012.11.15: According to Greenslade & al. (2011), Hypogastruridae is not monophyletic and Triacanthella is the most basic poduromorph genus and sister-group of all other Poduromorpha. Therefore, to partially resolve the paraphyly of the Hypogastruridae, we tentatively propose to place Triacanthella in a monogenic family Triacanthellidae basic to all Poduromorpha. Note: this is not yet reflected in the current taxonomic hierarchy. |
Remark by Janion, C., D'Haese, C.A. & Deharveng, L. 2012:58: The genus Triacanthella is phyletically isolated among Hypogastruridae both from a morphological and a molecular point of view. |
Remark by ICZN. 2007:403: Placed on the Official List of Names in Zoology. Opinion 435. |
Remark by Fjellberg, A. 1998:26: A true Arctic species. Records of 'tullbergi' from Continental Europe refer to other species. |
Remark by Gisin, H. 1960:40: Species inquirenda. |
Remark by Dányi, L. & Traser, G. 2008:9: As Loksa didn't provide any description or illustration, we have to consider it as nomen nudum. |
Remark by ICZN. 2007:156: Placed on the Official List of Names in Zoology. Opinion 1193. |
Remark by Thibaud, J.-M., Schulz, H.-J. & da Gama Assalino, M.M. 2004:40,45: Insufficient description. |
Remark by Dányi, L. & Traser, G. 2008:7: Species inquirenda. Maybe junior synonym of Ceratophysella silvatica Rusek, 1964. |
Remark by Janssens, F. 2022.11.08: Baquero & Jordana (2022) inadvertently declared the name 'Ceratophysella meridionalis' as a new name ("nom. nov."). But from the description it is clear that they meant "new combination", given the species has been tranferred from the genus Hypogastrura to the genus Ceratophysella. The usage of "nom. nov." is restricted to establish new nominal taxa (Art.16.1). A change of genus is a new combination (Art.48) which is a taxonomic issue not ruled by the ICZN. The new combination could be listed as "comb. nov." but there is no ICZN obligation to do so. |
Remark by Bellinger, P.F. & Ellis, W.N. 1976:274: Manuscript name. |
